Food was ok, nothing to write home about. The hostess had zero people skills. She greeted us and asked how we were doing, we replied and asked how she was doing, to which she stood there staring at us like a deer in headlights. After a very awkward 30 seconds or so of her just staring at us, we said, "2". This seemed to snap her back to earth, and we were seated. Our waitress was fantastic, very on top of things.

Had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. It's a quaint little place that has following. I had street tacos with a tortilla soup Tacos were very good. My other half had augratin potatoes topped with crab meat. She loved it. We shared chips and queso. We couldn't even eat all the queso . There was that much. Will return again

They only take reservations Friday-Sunday would be nive to know ahead.

Over priced for the portion size I can get white rice anywhere Mexican food should have Spanish rice

Excellent food and service. My tea glass never saw half empty. Didn't even notice it was missing when she refilled it.

Food was very good, but the service was terrible and it was so loud that you couldn't have a conversation without hollering.

Okay...just go! You will not be disappointed! My family and I eat out allot. I appreciate good food and good service. Let me just say that Silver Star Cantina exceeded my expectations! Everything we had was superb. Even the beans and rice were the best Ive ever had!! My first time tonight, but definitely not the last. And our server Michaela was perfect in every way!

I love... Love... Love... Love... Love this place. It's only flaw is that it is a relatively small place and getting a table without a reservation is pretty close to impossible. We have all ordered multiple things and we have been there multiple times yet have NEVER ordered anything less than amazing. Their Shrimp are so clean tasting and massive. Their Wagyu Steak is worth every cent. The potatoes (which ask to have filet mignon on top) were insanely good. The Fajitas are spicy and jam packed full of flavor. GO HERE!

The portions are entirely too small for the price you pay. The only thing worthwhile was the queso - you actually get av decent amount of it. The servers are fantastic, too. But, again, the cost of the miniscule portions is entirely out of balance.

Loud, dark, and random server avaibility. Food was ok. Try somewhere else...

Kind of pricey but the food was delicious. Nice musical atmosphere, quick service, but food was a little expensive compared to other local chains.Editing my review: I think if this is not a chain restaurant the prices are reasonable especially considering how much it costs to create an atmosphere like they did without a large corporation backing you. Support local businesses! If you're not hurting for money and want a delicious meal with great service, come here.

Went on Valentine's day, several empty reserved tables but they worked us in. Very nice staff! Great food, a little pricey but worth it!

Went here for lunch on a Monday. Service was excellent. Michaela was our server. I had the chicken quesadilla. Probably one of the best I've had in a long time.

Out standing fusion of smoked meats and Mexican cuisine. We were a large group. The waitresses was excellent.

We ate dinner at Silver Star Cantina a few weeks ago, and it was great! True to all Silver Star restaurants, they know how to cook steak - we had the Filet Mignon fajitas, and they were excellent. The rice and beans were fantastic. Guacamole was on point. If I had to criticize anything, I would say the salsa could be spicier, but that's just my personal preference. As usual, Silver Star did not disappoint!

Our server wanted us out to serve more tables. Loud. Crowded. The bar tender put coconut rum in a mojito. $10 table top guacamole that was just cut-up avocado and salad. $16 tacos. It's trying to be an upscale Mexican restaurant, but falls far from the standard. There are plenty of good Mexican places in town, skip this one.

Great mexican in bayou country

Great place to eat. Everything was fantastic. For appetizer definitely try the queso topped with beef brisket, the best I've ever had. Ordered the enchiladas, you get to choose two from several options. My choice was tenderloin with salsa Verde and pulled pork with ranchero sauce. Absolutely delicious!! This was the first time I have had lunch here. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu options. Without a doubt I expect they will be equally as satisfying.

Silver Star Cantina was great! The entire staff was highly professional and safe during these crazy times that we all live in. Would recommend this place to everyone.

The drinks are really expensive and small, chips and salsa is really go though.

GET the biggest bowl of tortilla soup possible! It's so good you might order a bowl to go. The service was great and all of the food I ordered was delicious.

Very yummy and nice environment. Kalei is an exceptional waitress. I got shrimp quesadillas and the shrimp was very fresh, flavorful, and there was plenty to fill me up! I’ll definitely be back for a date night soon!

Not much to choose from! Had street tacos grilled chicken and pulled pork was good. Had Jim Beam peach margarita which was very good!
